Together, We Can!

I am honored to have been elected to serve as the 2022-2024 Chairman of the Board for the Electronic Security Association. ESA has and always will be a place for the security professionals and vendors to connect and help us achieve our full potential as an industry. ESA has a storied history of working together for the betterment of our profession and in my role as Chairman of the Board, I simply hope to add to the legacy of bringing people together to focus on what’s best for ESA and our security industry across our nation…because Together, We Can. 

As chairman of ESA, I look forward to focusing on some important issues facing our industry and ensuring our members are getting value out of their membership and participation. You may have read about the re-launch of our Executive Management Professionals (EMP) group. The EMP group is comprised of senior and executive-level representatives from ESA member companies with an updated mission to deliver solutions and add value to fellow members. Here are its four key initiatives: 

• Workforce Development & Recruiting Efforts 
• Industry Beneficial Research 
• Public Relations 
• Peer-to-Peer Professional Development 

In addition, I look forward to discussions on how we can enhance our subscriber’s experience by reducing false alarm dispatches which will result in lowering attrition. I had a session at ESX 2022 where Monitoring Centers showcased their technology and innovation to help us achieve just that goal.  

Finally, I want our industry focused on all that is happening in the cyber space and to ensure that we are prepared for any attacks so that our customers and companies are protected. There is so much we can do together and so much to be learned from each other. I encourage each company to revisit ESA’s Security America Insurance offerings soon. Take action 30 days too early instead of one day too late and get your business protected and insured for all possibilities.
