ESA Appoints Kevin Stone, Doyle Security, as Treasurer on Board
Kevin Stone, Chief Operating Officer of Doyle Security Systems in Rochester, NY, has recently been appointed as Treasurer on the Electronic Security Association’s Board of Directors.
The purpose of a Treasurer is to work collectively to provide good governance of ESA affairs and to set direction to optimize the growth and performance of the organization.
Each Board Member has a responsibility for ensuring strategies and policies that are developed, discussed, and implemented will enable the organization to achieve its mission and vision — and to monitor the organization’s implementation of those strategies and policies.
ESA welcomes Stone to this vital position amongst its volunteer leaders. Kevin began his career with Doyle in 1989 and is a 32-year veteran the alarm industry. He started as a Commercial Security Consultant and now has responsibility for sales, installation and service for Doyle’s eight branches. He is also responsible for the Doyle Medical Monitoring division . Doyle Security specializes in intrusion, video surveillance, access control, carbon monoxide detection, fire alarm, and central station monitoring for residential and commercial. They have been in business for 103 years and have over 40000 accounts with an annual revenue of $30 million. The have won “Best Places to Work in New York” for 4 consecutive years and are the largest security provider in New York State.
Kevin is a Rochester Business Journal 40 under 40 recipient and The Rochester Police Rosewood Club recognized him with a Distinguished Service Award. He was recognized by Rotary International as Rotarian of the Year and was named a Paul Harris Fellow.

Kevin currently sits on the Advisory Boards of the Monitoring Association (TMA), Security Industry Alarm Coalition (SIAC), Resideo and the American Cancer Society. He’s past President of the Akron Newstead Rotary and Vice-President of the Akron Central School District Board of Education. He is a past Chairman of the Western New York Chapter of American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), has CPP (Certified Protection Professional) certification and was a Crime Stoppers Board member.
Kevin resides in Akron, N.Y. with his wife Marlene. Together they have three children Jacob, Claudia and Abigail. Kevin enjoys family time, golf and travel.
