Telguard Unveils TG‑7EM Multi‑Carrier Intrusion Communicator at ESX 2026
Electronic Security Association — June 16, 2026
Atlanta, GA. June 1st, 2026 – Telguard, the alarm communication experts, today announced the TG‑7EM, its newest Multi‑Carrier 5G LTE‑M and LAN dual‑path communicator designed specifically for commercial intrusion applications. The TG‑7EM will be officially introduced at ESX 2026, delivering a new standard of reliability, redundancy, and flexibility for mission‑critical intrusion installations.

The TG‑7EM combines Multi‑Carrier cellular connectivity with LAN-based dual‑path communication to help ensure alarm signals reach the central station without interruption. Supporting AT&T, Verizon, and T‑Mobile, the TG‑7EM evaluates network conditions during installation and automatically connects to the best‑performing carrier using Telguard’s patent‑pending Carrier Selection Process (CSP). If service degradation or an outage occurs, the communicator seamlessly switches to another carrier to maintain reliable signal delivery—without manual intervention.

For added resilience, the TG‑7EM supports true dual‑path reporting over cellular and LAN. If one communication path becomes unavailable, the secondary path continues transmitting alarm signals, significantly reducing the risk of communication failure in environments where uptime matters.

“With the most features of any Telguard intrusion communicator, the TG‑7EM brings together the confidence that every signal gets through by combining universal panel and central station compatibility with Multi‑Carrier cellular and internet access,” said George Brody, president at Telguard.

Key Features and Benefits of the TG‑7EM:

  • Multi‑Carrier Cellular Connectivity with Automatic Network Switching – Automatically selects the best‑performing carrier among AT&T, Verizon, and T‑Mobile and seamlessly switches carriers during outages or signal degradation
  • Dual‑Path Communications – Active cellular and LAN pathways for added reliability
  • Universal Compatibility – Works with all major intrusion panels and any central station
  • Flexible Power Options – Supports 12VDC or 24VDC from the control panel, or AC connection with internal battery backup
  • Secure Communications – 256‑bit encryption, active line security (200 sec supervision on the active path for sole or dual path modes), and included tamper switch

Designed for scalability, reliability, and ease of deployment, the TG‑7EM is ideally suited for new installations, takeovers, and system upgrades in demanding commercial intrusion environments.
