ESA Welcomes Taylor Criddle as New VP of Advocacy and Public Affairs

ESA is proud to welcome Taylor Criddle to the position of VP of Advocacy and Public Affairs. In his role, he will serve as a voice on behalf of the security and life safety industry in the important arena of policymaking. 

Criddle brings deep experience in government affairs to this role and has a strong background in legislative strategy, grassroots advocacy, and political campaigns. Over the past decade, he has spearheaded efforts that influenced public policy, engaged stakeholders, and driven results at both the state and federal levels.  

“I’m honored to join the Electronic Security Association as Vice President of Advocacy and Public Affairs.” says Taylor Criddle “I look forward to working alongside our members to advance ESA’s mission, strengthen our industry’s voice in the policy arena, and support the professionals and companies who safeguard our communities and protect what matters most.”  

Criddle holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Criminal Justice from California State University, Chico, and holds an MBA at Louisiana State University, Shreveport. He most recently served as Grassroots Manager for the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), where he directed advocacy initiatives across California, Nevada, and Utah. In addition, he worked closely with small business owners and lawmakers to advance policy priorities through effective mobilization and coalition-building.  

His private sector experience also includes serving as California State Director for the Republican National Committee, where he managed statewide political operations and campaign strategy. Earlier in his career, Taylor worked in the California State Legislature, supporting policy work and constituent engagement. He has also worked on a competitive congressional campaign and spent time on Capitol Hill, deepening his understanding of the legislative process and federal policymaking.  

With a strong track record of advocacy and a passion for public service, Criddle is well-positioned to lead ESA’s efforts in shaping sound policy that supports the electronic security and life safety industry. His addition to the leadership team reflects ESA’s continued commitment to protecting member interests and elevating the industry’s voice on the issues that matter most.
