Empowering Women in Technology Scholarship Returns for 2026
ESA is now accepting applications for the 2026 “Empowering Women in Technology” Scholarship, designed to support women advancing careers in electronic security and life safety technology. Six outstanding women will receive complimentary training and certification to help strengthen their skills and professional growth.
“Women bring unique perspectives and innovation to our industry,” says ESA COO Jillian Bateman-McIntosh. “This scholarship is an investment in their careers and in the future of the industry.”
ESA’s Certified Alarm Technician Certifications set the industry standard for preparing today’s fleet of technicians and managers. They align with industry best practices and lend credibility to the certification holder. Candidates undergo a rigorous training and examination process, and successful achievement demonstrates that an individual has acquired the knowledge and skills required for success in the field.
The program will award three Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 certifications and three Level 2 certifications, providing industry-standard training for technicians and managers.
Applications are open through April 3rd, and the winners will be notified on April 9th. Do you know an exceptional woman making an impact in electronic security? Encourage her to apply below today!
