2019 Executive Strategic Partners Show Industry Support through ESA Program
Jillian Bateman — October 1, 2019

ESA is proud to recognize the distinguished group of companies supporting the industry in 2019 through its Executive Strategic Partnership program.

“This program allows us to partner with key manufacturers and service providers that are looking to make a significant impact on the industry,” says Merlin Guilbeau, CEO of ESA. “There are key factors we look for in our strategic partners: They must deliver a quality, reputable product that allows our members to better run and grow their businesses. Each one of these players not only check that box, but they also make a significant impact on the installation, integration and monitoring channel — by investing in the association to support vital programming.”

As a non-profit organization, ESA invests in and constantly seeks new ways to benefit the association’s members and the industry. The Executive Strategic Partnership program is one way for vendor companies to give back and demonstrate their alignment with ESA’s core values by supporting its efforts to move the industry forward.

Leading the way as the exclusive 2019 Diamond Level Partners Interlogix.

“The ESA is a dedicated association created and managed by people who are committed to not only the security industry, but also the safety and well-being of those affected by the products we build and sell,” says Warren Hall, vice president of partner solutions, Interlogix. “Interlogix has a distinguished heritage of being a leader in the security, life safety and access control industry and we look forward with great optimism on the direction this industry is headed.  We are honored to partner with the Electronic Security Association in ongoing efforts to build a strong and sustainable future for professional alarm dealers.”

The ESP program’s sole 2019 Platinum Level Partner is Resideo.

“The Electronic Security Association serves a vital role in educating and training the next generation of life safety and security professionals to ensure they have the skills necessary as we move into the next decade,” said Alice DeBiasio, vice president and general manager of Pro Security, Resideo. “We’ve been a strategic partner and supporter of the ESA for nearly a dozen years and following our spin as an independent company last year from Honeywell, Resideo is now singularly focused on ensuring homeowners remain safe, secure and comfortable in their homes. We believe our network of more than 110,000 professionals are best positioned to help them navigate an increasingly complex set of choices to do that.”

“This program allows us to partner with key manufacturers and service providers that are looking to make a significant impact on the industry,” says Merlin Guilbeau, CEO of ESA.

The 2019 Gold Level Partners include Axis Communications, Inc. and Telguard, a Business Unit of AMETEK, Inc.

“We’re proud to support ESA and help their members expand their business potential,” says Mike King, Manager, Hosted Video, Axis Communications, Inc. “The complexities of security require integrators to offer innovative and comprehensive solutions, from video surveillance to access control to audio systems and beyond. We look forward to continued collaboration with ESA and supporting the industry’s advancement.”

“2019 marks our eighth year as a Gold Level Executive Strategic Partner with ESA.  We are just as excited to show our support of ESA’s commitment to investing in the future of our industry today as we were back in 2011,” says George Brody, president, Telguard, a Business Unit of AMETEK, Inc. “As landlines continue to give way to cellular, Telguard dealers can take advantage of this trend and offer reliable LTE cellular alarm communicators to residential and commercial customers. First responders answer the call – we make sure they get it. And our dealers pocket the RMR instead of the carriers.”

The 2019 Silver Level Partners include Altronix, Anixter and Uniview Tec.

“Altronix and ESA have a longstanding partnership, fostering the advancement of the professional security industry,” says Alan Forman, president, Altronix. “The valuable resources that ESA provides all of us are core reasons for our involvement.”

“Anixter is committed to serving security integrators and dealers through our industry-leading technical and project deployment services,” said James Rothstein, SVP of global security at Anixter. “Through this ongoing partnership with ESA, we will continue to help educate and drive innovation in the electronic security and life safety industry, leading the shift from siloed, analog systems to integrated, IP-based building technology solutions.”

“With the introduction of the uniview tec video products, ESA was our first choice to support our dealer marketing initiatives. We enjoy a great relationship with ESA’s management and have received tremendous dealer interest during the ESA events and the ESX Conference and Exhibit,” says Keith Shaver, VP sales & marketing, Uniview Technology – uniview tec. “We are proud to continue our membership and look forward to greater participation as a Silver Level sponsor. ESA is the organization to be partnered with for professional dealer representation.”

In 2019, ESA welcomed First Time Strategic Partners Verizon Connect and SnapAV.

“We partner with the ESA knowing that our investment will continue to support the evolution and innovation of the fleet and workforce management technology industry,” said Jay Jaffin, chief marketing officer at Verizon Connect. “The ESA’s commitment to our industry and the safety, security and education of its members make this partnership mutually beneficial.”

“ESA’s mission closely aligns with SnapAV’s guiding mantra to empower dealers to win the battle for technology in today’s competitive marketplace,” says Clint Choate, market director – security, SnapAV. “With compressing ASP’s and the value of traditional dealer models under threat, bringing our integrator-first message, differentiated product catalog, and award-winning support team to the security industry is more important than ever before. Together, ESA and SnapAV can better support industry advocacy and market expansion while creating more business opportunities for professional integrators.”

The significant financial investment of these companies helps further ESA initiatives to recruit new talent for the industry, provide legislative updates, conduct research and be the voice of the electronic security and life safety industry. In return for their financial support, Executive Strategic Partners gain access to various marketing opportunities and a platform for connecting with members, prospects and decision makers through ESA’s extensive network of highly qualified installers, dealers and integrators.
