Industry colleagues teamed up for a day filled with networking. It was a sunny, refreshing day on the Lexington Course where temperatures hovered around 70 degrees for the 19 foursomes participating in this meaningful fundraiser.
Golf Co-Chairs, Keith Baird of Honeywell and Mike Harrison of Hillcrest Davidson, once again took the lead in driving the tournament. Electronic live golf scoring, powered by VPAR, ramped up friendly competition on the course. Golfers landed at the 19th hole to view a leaderboard which revealed the winners automatically.
Golfers were divided into two flights. Flight One Low-Gross went to the WAVE Electronics team of Bryan Stewart, Ernest Celedon, Jason Cane & Mike Harrison, who came in with a remarkable net score of -25. Runner up honors went to the Telguard team of Henry Laik, Adam Emmet and Troy Iverson, who also came in with a net score of -25.
Flight Two Low Gross went to the Eagle Sentry/Security America RRG & SIAC team of Greg Simmons, Scott Taylor, Steve Keefer and Troy Tanner with a notable net score of -20. Runners up were the United Alarm team of Bob Rossman, Dana Klesh, Charlie Colman and Tim Prutny with a net score of -19.
Each player on the winning teams received a $300 or $150 American Express gift card.
The Longest Drive #16 went to Mike Harrison. His prize was a $150 American Express gift card. Closest to the Line winner, Mike Matson also received a $150 American Express gift card. The event followed a shamble format, a combination of scramble and best ball. Once again, Golf Co-Chair Mike Harrison showed off his style by rocking the best golf pants on the course.
Chairman of the AIREF Board, John Jennings had this to say about the tournament:

The post play reception at Revere showcased tournament awards, prizes and presentations acknowledging winners and sponsors. The Revere offers a canyon course, which can prove a challenge for golfers, but the stunning panoramic view of Las Vegas could be blamed as a distraction.
The tournament serves as AIREF’s sole fundraising event, allowing the foundation to support critical research and educational programs that benefit the security industry and enhance public safety.
