ESA Announces Call for Nominations: 2024 Board of Directors Election

ESA’s Leadership Identification & Nomination Committee (LINC) Invites Integrator and Associate Members to Submit Nominations by February 15 

ESA announced the commencement of the annual election process for the Board of Directors on January 23. 2024. The Leadership Identification & Nomination Committee (LINC) invites Integrator and Associate Members of ESA in Good Standing, serving as Voting Representatives for their organizations, to participate in this crucial process. 

“Those that serve as an ESA Director have the industry’s respect.” says Kirk MacDowell, LINC’s Chairman. “Directors take an oath to serve the industry, not their specific company. Leadership matters and the LINC committee welcomes nominations for the 2024 Board of Directors.” 

This year’s election focuses on filling the following positions for the Board of Directors: 

  • Integrator Director: Three (3) positions for two-year terms 
  • National Company Director: One (1) position for a two-year term 
  • Associate Member Director: One (1) position for a two-year term 

Qualified members interested in contributing to the association’s leadership are encouraged to submit their nominations. Due by February 15, 2024, via the application process. 

The Nominating Committee will unveil qualified candidates on March 25, 2024. Subsequently, electronic ballots will be distributed on April 29, 2024. With completion required by May 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM (Central). The formal installation of the elected directors is scheduled for the Annual Membership meeting on June 3, 2024. Additionally, the location will be at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Louisville, KY. Afterward, newly elected candidates will officially assume office on July 1, 2024.
