SHAMBLE (a combination of best ball and scramble)
We are heading into the new year and with that comes new events and opportunities to look out for and mark on your calendar! One of these events being the FAST Golf Classic tournament (formerly the AIREF Golf Classic).
This event allows professionals to network and golf without guilt. You may be asking yourself, “Without guilt, you say, why’s that?”
Well, during the tournament you won’t only be celebrating with top clients, prospects, employees, or working on your short game. All proceeds from the event support workforce development initiatives, designed to encourage people to consider robust career opportunities available in the industry we all share. Now you can have extra peace of mind on that tricky bunker shot, knowing that you’ve given back to the electronic security industry and invested in the next generation of business leaders.
The Foundation for Advancing Security Talent’s (FAST) Goal
Today, we all struggle to draw qualified talent. The Golf Classic is FAST’s main fundraising event, and all funds go towards their goal, to connect passionate, innovative professionals with new opportunities in the electronic security and life safety industry. It achieves this through a partnership of the industry’s leading associations, the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and the Security Industry Association (SIA). To continue to gain and maintain momentum, we need your support!
Tournament Details
The Golf Classic takes place on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the Desert Pines Golf Club Las Vegas. The course features over 4,000 mature pine trees lining the fairways with green grass running from tees to pins. White sand bunkers protect large, undulating, bent grass greens fashioned after those at Augusta National Golf Club. We invite you to experience the Carolina sandhills, tucked away minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, in the historic part of Las Vegas.
Take some time away from the expo floor and casinos in Vegas this March and escape to the fresh, calming scent of real pine trees. You’ll be doing yourself and the industry a favor!
Golfer registration are $285 per person and include food and beverages (breakfast, lunch, and award reception appetizers served), golf carts, and all applicable green fees.
Additionally, if you are looking to further support the tournament, multiple sponsorship opportunities are available.
