Irving, Texas, May 10, 2010 – The Electronic Security Association’s (ESA) National Training School (NTS) will celebrate its 25th year of service and leadership at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX), June 15-17 in Pittsburgh, PA.
NTS was founded in 1985 and has trained more than 40,000 industry professionals since its inception. NTS’s Certified Alarm/Security Technician – Level 1 course and certification is the most widely recognized credential for licensing of installation company personnel in the United States. In addition, NTS’s broadening line-up of courses and certifications in video surveillance, electronic access control, fire, and intrusion detection are increasingly recognized by regulating authorities, end-users and employers as indicators of proficiency and professionalism.
At ESX, NTS will reach out to all attendees to increase awareness of its courses, certifications and training delivery systems. NTS offers more than 200 classroom opportunities per year, plus online and private class options. NTS will also honor past and present instructors and course subject matter experts with a champagne toast on Wed., June 16 at 5:30PM in the ESA Booth #301. Media are invited to meet with ESA leaders for insights on NTS immediately after the toast.
“NTS is perhaps the most vital way ESA delivers value to its members and the industry as a whole,†said Michael A. Miller, president of ESA. “We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished over the last 25 years and even more excited about NTS’s present and future. Our participation and celebration at ESX presents an opportunity for us to recognize the past and build enthusiasm for what’s on the horizon.â€
