In an ever-evolving world of technology, it seems we are always one step-behind.  Just as the iPhone X was coming out, I was upgrading to a 7S.  A new app came out that helps you manage your expenses.  Meanwhile I think the excel document I have developed (fancy formulas and all) is the bee’s knees.

At 8 p.m. on a Thursday night, the principal of a Blytheville high school gets a call from the basketball coach. A group from the team has decided to have a spur of the moment practice session before an upcoming tournament and wants to use the gymnasium. While sitting on his couch, the principal unlocks the gym for the next hour and sets it to lock back after the team is done.

On April 9, 2019 the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) seeking public comments on proposed rule changes designed to provide more clarity on the circumstances that create a “joint employment” relationship between employers and employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), which has not been significantly revised for over 60 years. ESA submitted comments in support of the NPRM.

The two organizations came together to organize a mission trip to Ponce, Puerto Rico, set for the fall of 2018. Mission 500, a nonprofit organization that works closely with the electronic security industry to serve the needs of children living in severe poverty across the United States, announced the service trip in the summer of 2018 with a goal of raising $10,000.
